Removes a message type from a chat window's list of saved message subscriptions. Used by the default UI's functions ChatFrame_RemoveMessageGroup() and ChatFrame_RemoveAllMessageGroups() which manage the set of message types shown in a displayed ChatFrame.

Arguments:

  • index - Index of a chat frame (between 1 and NUM_CHAT_WINDOWS) (number)
  • messageGroup - Token identifying a message type (string, chatMsgType)
