    Hello all,

    I would deeply appreciate feedback on an addon that I have been working on for a couple of months. The addon is called Pro Raid Canvas, and the latest beta version (v1.0.7.1-beta) is available on Curse. Screenshots and a description are available, as well.

    In a nutshell, the addon offers functionality similar to that provided by the website http://www.bossblueprint.com. (Though the two projects are not related.) Raids and parties can use Pro Raid Canvas in-game to collaborate visually on boss strategies, tactics, placement, movement, and so on. To get started with the addon, just join a raid or party with another Pro Raid Canvas user and start drawing. Of course, you can use the addon outside a raid or party; in that case, only you will see your own artistry.

    I would be sincerely grateful for your commentary on the addon itself or its underlying code. I am a LUA novice (an understatement) and so I expect there are glaring problems, both macro and micro, under the hood. My goal is to make the addon stable, efficient, useful, and fun, so please feel free to bruise my ego.

    I am well aware of two necessary features that are missing in the latest release: the ability to "lock" the canvas with individual user permissions, and the ability to save and load diagrams. These two features are a high priority for future releases.

    I personally won't get a chance to do this (looking at my own code takes up enough of my rare spare time) but thanks for posting the link. Perhaps someone else might be interested!
