    I have the first world of warcraft programming book and am wondering what are the differences between this and the second edition? Is it just code updates or is there more tutorials and exsamples to learn of.

    Many of the chapters were completely rewritten. The API documentation was completely revamped. You can view the full table of contents on the publisher's website. Except 3 contains the table of contents, which should give you a fair idea of what has changed.
